Why?! Why didn't anyone tell me there was dedicated bands/groups to this type of music?! Sure I know I don't say much and I tend to be a lurker a majority of the time but...all that aside I've just found an additional musical inspration in the group known as Globus. Currently looking up other pieces and I was wondering does anyone else have any other groups I should look up while I'm at it? Songs, bands that stir the soul and not just the mind.

Please, oh please help a brother man out. I need more music like this, it makes me wanna go find some armor and a sword, amass a horde and go fight something. Anything.

Heh, who wouldn't like that kind of music eh?

But, if you want to know more, Globus is a group that is affiliated with Immediate Music, which is a company specializing in trailer and cinematic announcement music. Any sort of awesome music you hear in a movie trailer, it's a company like Immediate Music that does it.

The music made by Globus is in fact altered songs from Immediate Music, adapted to use lyrics in them. (You can see a bit more about that here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globus_%28music%29)

But overall, if you love that kind of music, I suggest you try to look a bit deeper for music made by such companies :P

And here's a good example, made by Two Steps from Hell. Music is titled Freedom Fighters, and featured in a 3 minutes trailer for the latest Star Trek movie(which I did found awesome, and so is the trailer and music btw :P)
